What has technology ever done for us?
I was sitting at my all-purpose, globally connected, portable computer, considering how incredible it is that today, in 2009, I can watch for free an 80-minute film released almost sixty years ago, whenever and wherever I like, on a discreet little screen that fits in my pocket, and for a moment I flipped out because someone had borrowed the cable I needed to do just that.
