Pipes: Boing Boing sans crapola →
I made a new feed with Yahoo Pipes. This one will give you all the latest updates from Boing Boing, EXCEPT anything that mentions “iPhone” or “steam-punk”. Next step: craft a regular expression to filter out “I’m going to buy 20 of these and plaster them around my luxurious home, just because I can”.

Wooo, LiteStep!
I just installed LiteStep. So far I’m impressed. Multiple desktops! Taskbar actually being useful for something! Explorer.exe not hogging 127 MB of RAM! Volume buttons mysteriously not working, but still omgawesome! I’m fed up of fighting the system to perform the simplest of tasks. Hopefully this will be a suitable replacement for explorer…

Here’s a little script to link to a random page on your Tumblr:<script type="text/javascript"> if ({Total Pages} > 1) { var randPage = Math.ceil(Math.random() * {Total Pages}); document.write('<a href="/page/'+randPage+'">Random Page</a>'); } </script> To make it work, just remove the space in {Total Pages} on the first two lines. Google custom search (BÉTA2.0)
There’s now a Google custom search engine at the end of the page. So far it seems to be doing a good job; the only thing it can’t find is my first post, but that doesn’t have much content anyway so it’s all good! Try it out if you’re curious! Just set it to search your-site.tumblr.com/post/* (as opposed to the whole domain) and you’ll get great results. But I...
